About the Role

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within our Bracing & Support product line. You will deliver clinical presentations to medical professionals to achieve sales goals within your defined territory.

Primary Call Points:

  • Hospital Systems: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Materials Management.

  • Private Clinics: Orthopedic practices and O&P (Orthotic and Prosthetic) offices.

Location: This position supports Northern California and Nevada. Ideal candidates should be based in the Sacramento or San Francisco area.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Execution: Attain or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives.

  • Relationship Management: Develop and build long-term relationships with clinical decision-makers to expand market share.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute territory-specific sales strategies, utilizing data and market reports to prioritize activities.

  • Technical Expertise: Maintain a high level of technical competency (90%+) on all product testing and industry knowledge to effectively overcome objections.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with independent representatives and distribution partners to ensure seamless service and goal attainment.

  • Reporting: Submit accurate territory reports and expense documentation while maintaining a proactive approach to cost management.

  • Quality & Compliance: Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and quality management system requirements.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Life Science or Business discipline preferred).

  • Experience: 3+ years of direct field sales experience, preferably within the medical device or healthcare industry.

  • Domain Knowledge: Prior experience selling O&P, Physical Therapy, or Orthopedic products is highly desirable.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Travel: Ability to maintain a rigorous travel schedule (approximately 50% travel).


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $82,222 – $101,557 (based on location and experience).

  • Commission: $41,000 at plan (uncapped).
