Key Responsibilities
As an Area Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial performance of multiple apartment communities within the Nashville market.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of multifamily communities
- Support and coach onsite teams to improve performance and resident satisfaction
- Drive occupancy, leasing, and revenue goals
- Monitor property financials, budgets, and operating expenses
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, and local regulations
- Assist with staffing, hiring, training, and employee development
- Conduct regular property visits and support community teams as needed
- Partner with Community Managers to improve property performance and resident retention
- Maintain high standards for curb appeal, maintenance, and customer service
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of Property Manager experience required in multifamily housing
- Previous multisite experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
- Experience managing budgets, occupancy, leasing performance, and operations
- Ability to travel regularly between properties throughout the region
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Lease-up experience
- Experience with Entrata property management software is a plus
