Janitorial Area Manager

Clean Team Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Janitorial Area Manager to oversee evening operations throughout the Flint, Michigan area and surrounding communities. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, supporting frontline teams, maintaining customer satisfaction, and driving operational excellence across multiple commercial cleaning accounts.

• Monday through Friday
• 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Evening and Night Operations

Service Area

This position supports customer locations throughout Flint and nearby communities, including:

• Clio
• Davison
• Fenton
• Grand Blanc
• Lapeer
• Marlette
• North Branch

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine site visits to ensure quality standards are met
• Lead, coach, and support Supervisors and Cleaning Associates
• Monitor account performance and customer satisfaction
• Address service concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain team members
• Manage labor hours and staffing levels across assigned accounts
• Deliver cleaning supplies and ensure locations remain properly stocked
• Conduct inspections and quality audits
• Maintain communication with customers, employees, and leadership
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and client expectations
• Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as needed

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in janitorial, facilities management, housekeeping, operations, or service-related industries
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work evenings and travel between customer locations
