L&H Industrial Services is seeking a motivated and independent individual with positive attitude and exceptional leadership skills who is looking for a great sales opportunity.  Our Sales Consultant, while developing and maintaining relationships with current clientele, will be responsible for generating regular sales leads along with heading and/or participating in “lead generating events”.  The Sales Consultant shall retain and expand sales revenue as well as drive new sales market by seeking out and educating potential customers about our products through outbound calls, face to face consultations and cold calling.  Must have a commitment to continuous professional development; accepting of feedback and coaching.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining a sales pipeline

Presentations and proposals

Structured and disciplined daily activities

Develop strong knowledge of products and equipment

Actively develop new customer contacts, reviews leads, protect territory and participates in increasing revenue stream

Promotes products and represents the company on and off-site

Maintains records of all account activity within sales database

Serves as contact with customers and maintains contact lists

Determine customer requirements and needs in order to recommend specific products.

Accurately process customer transactions such as orders and quotes

Manage time effectively and meet personal goals.

Work effectively with other members of the team.

Follow company and office policies in regards to both conduct and employee performance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver's license.

Knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a High School Diploma and/or GED.

Understanding of smart device technologies like phones, tablets and computers.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Strong focus on meeting the needs of the customer; honesty, integrity and a great work ethic

Ability to travel in support of company initiatives

Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong business development experience

College degree is a plus

Prior experience in sales and customer service

Experience in lieu of degree

 

Pay is competitive and is dependent upon experience
