Role Overview

Responsible for promoting and selling Hoshizaki products through a base of reseller partners and users such as food service equipment dealers, service contractors, institutional accounts, chain accounts, and new business opportunities. This role supports territory sales growth through customer relationship management, dealer training, forecasting, and market development activities. The Area Sales Manager plays a key role in expanding Hoshizaki's market presence while delivering exceptional customer support and achieving sales objectives.

Location: San Antonio, Houston & Austin Territory (Remote / Field-Based)

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve annual territory sales goals to support company revenue targets
  • Conduct dealer training events, customer visits, and sales presentations to increase product awareness and demand
  • Support Hoshizaki business partners through sales activities including promotions, product training, and customer development
  • Utilize CRM, SETVI, and Microsoft Office tools to manage forecasting, pipeline activity, and reporting accuracy
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Total territory sales vs. budget
• Key sales activity metrics vs. goals
• Individual product sales performance vs. targets
• CRM engagement and forecasting accuracy

Travel required within the assigned territory for customer visits, training sessions, and technical support activities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of successful B2B or field sales experience with a proven track record of meeting sales goals
  • Strong selling, negotiation, communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, forecasting, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, field-based environment while collaborating with sales teams and channel partners
  • Experience with dealer/distributor sales channels, foodservice equipment, hospitality, manufacturing, or related industries preferred
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to identify growth opportunities within the assigned territory
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the San Antonio, Houston, and Austin territory

Salary & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000 annually. In addition to base pay, this role offers a competitive bonus structure with strong earning potential tied to performance. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of successful selling experience.
  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals.
