Title: Arizona Conservation Corps-Executive Director
Starting Salary Range: The starting salary range for this position will be in the $106,900 - $113,314 range, depending on experience, education, and skills relevant to the position. Please note that the indicated starting salary range describes the range for an incumbent in this position. Most new staff generally start at the beginning of the range percentile to ensure internal salary equity.
Location: Tucson, Flagstaff, or Phoenix, AZ - Not Remote Eligible.
Status: Full-Time, Exempt

Conservation Legacy is a nationwide non-profit. The Corps programs within the organization engage participants in diverse conservation and community projects that serve public and private lands. Program Summary: Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC) operates programs across Arizona engaging individuals and strengthening communities through service and conservation. AZCC consists of three offices, located in Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Tucson Arizona, with staff in each location to support local and regional projects. AZCC works with federal, state, municipal, tribal, and non-profit partners to engage young adults in both crew projects (trails, fire, invasives mitigation, and cultural resources) and individual placements, which range from interpretive to volunteer coordination initiatives. AZCC is focused on connecting youth, young adults and recent-era military veterans with conservation service work projects on public lands. AZCC programs promote personal growth, experiential learning and an ethic of natural resource stewardship while incorporating the guiding principles of community, dedication, challenge, integrity, and FUN!
Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible as the leader for developing and maintaining local partnerships within their service communities and surrounding geographic area. This includes identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with local project partners through agreements and funding that support the programming. This position also collaborates with other Conservation Legacy staff to develop and maintain regional and national partnerships. Under their leadership, they will operate a team of program staff members at various levels to be high-functioning, effective, and lead the corps industry in day to day and strategic decisions, innovation, and programmatic outcomes and operations.
