Armed and Unarmed Security Officers

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, staff, and visitors
• Monitor premises via patrols, surveillance systems, or stationed posts
• Deter criminal activity and respond to incidents as needed
• Write detailed incident and shift reports
• Enforce site-specific policies and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism at all times
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Requirements – Unarmed Security Officer:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid state-issued security license or guard card (if applicable)
• Excellent communication and observation skills
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
• Reliable transportation
• Prior security or military experience preferred but not required

Requirements – Armed Security Officer:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid Armed Security Officer license and state firearm permit
• Proof of firearms training and qualification
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond to emergencies
• Strong understanding of use-of-force policies and legal responsibilities
• Must pass background check and drug screening
