Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
As an Armed Security Guard, you will:
- Protect government personnel, visitors, facilities, and property
- Control access to secured areas through credential verification and visitor screening
- Conduct patrols and inspect facilities to identify potential security risks
- Monitor and respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
- Enforce security procedures, federal regulations, and site-specific post orders
- Respond professionally and effectively to incidents and emergency situations
- Maintain situational awareness and operational readiness at all times
- Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed reports of security activities and incidents
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong security presence
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
- Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
- Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
- Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Valid NC driver’s license and able to operate SUV style vehicles.
- Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
- Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
- Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army
