Responsibilities:
What You'll Do
As an Armed Security Guard, you will:
Protect government personnel, visitors, facilities, and property
Control access to secured areas through credential verification and visitor screening
Conduct patrols and inspect facilities to identify potential security risks
Monitor and respond to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
Enforce security procedures, federal regulations, and site-specific post orders
Respond professionally and effectively to incidents and emergency situations
Maintain situational awareness and operational readiness at all times
Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed reports of security activities and incidents
Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong security presence
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
Must have an Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a Valid NC driver’s license and able to operate SUV style vehicles.
Minimum of one year experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
Successfully be able to meet PAT physical agility standards as set forth by US Army
