Armed Security Guard

Position Overview:
Jay Ques on the Deuces is seeking a professional and experienced Armed Security Officer to ensure the safety of our guests, staff, and property. This role requires a calm, alert individual who can handle high-traffic environments while maintaining a strong but respectful presence.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible security presence to deter disturbances or illegal activity
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas
• Check IDs and assist with crowd control as needed
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
• De-escalate conflicts in a professional manner
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary
• Complete incident reports accurately and promptly

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Armed Security License (Class “G”) required
• Valid Florida Security License (Class “D”) required
• Previous armed security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be reliable and punctual

Requirements:

• Must be 21+ years old
• Must pass background screening
• Must maintain proper firearm safety at all times
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

• Experience in nightlife, bar, or restaurant security
• CPR/First Aid certification
