Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or armed security experience
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
