Armed Security Officer – Arlington, VABlueline Security Services LLC is currently seeking a professional and dependable Armed Security Officer for a high-visibility assignment at a busy entertainment venue in Arlington, Virginia.Schedule:Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday8:00 PM – 2:00 AMLocation:Arlington, VAPosition Overview:This position is located at a fast-paced bowling and entertainment facility that requires strong customer service skills, situational awareness, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff. Officers must be comfortable working in a dynamic setting with high foot traffic and frequent public interaction.Important Physical Requirement:This is a standing post. Officers should be able to stand and remain alert for extended periods, patrol the facility as needed, and maintain a visible security presence throughout the shift.Responsibilities:Maintain a visible security presence throughout the property.Conduct bag checks and screenings of guests entering the facility.Enforce all venue policies, procedures, and safety regulations.Ensure guests comply with house rules and address violations professionally.Monitor guests, employees, and facility activities.Prevent disturbances, theft, and unauthorized activity.Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies.Complete detailed incident and activity reports.Coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.Qualifications:Valid Virginia Armed Security Officer license.High school diploma or equivalent.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.Ability to professionally enforce rules while maintaining positive customer interactions.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.Previous armed security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.What We Offer:Competitive pay.Consistent weekly schedule.Professional work environment.Opportunities for advancement within the company.Qualified candidates must be comfortable conducting bag checks, interacting with the public, enforcing venue policies, and working a standing post in a fast-paced environment.
