As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Site Protection in South San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This role requires an Armed Guard Card or License and a California Weapons Permit with 9mm caliber endorsement. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Perform armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify authorization as required, and report access-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
