How you'll make an impact in this role:
  • Provide security services to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Proactively monitor and respond to potential or actual security threats in a timely manner.
  • Investigate, document, and manage security incidents, hazards, and safety concerns.
  • Maintain and enforce knowledge of alarms, emergency procedures, and disaster preparedness plans, including support for drills and simulations.
  • Deliver safety guidance, information, and assistance to staff and visitors while promoting a secure environment.
What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Security Guard specializing in Weapon Permit obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Drivers License preferred.
  • Law Enforcement preferred.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior credentialed from the Management of Aggressive Behavior Training International, Inc preferred.
  • Security Professional preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
