Armed Security Officer - Fort Worth

These is a part time position only. Please do not apply if you are looking for full time work.

This is Saturday and Sunday days from 6am to 6pm. This is an outside position with access to building. Must have reliable vehicle.

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a solid understanding of loss prevention strategies, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing security protocols and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.

Duties

Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, utilizing first aid and CPR skills as necessary.

Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.

Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or suspicious behavior.

Document all incidents, observations, and activities accurately in daily reports.

Provide exceptional customer service while addressing concerns or inquiries from clients and visitors.

Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with security protocols, conflict management techniques, and first aid practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.

Valid armed security officer certification is required.

Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.

Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and techniques.

Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.

Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.

Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in high-pressure environments.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
