Job Skills / Requirements
Armed Security Officer (Level III)
Location: Houston, TX
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday, 2:00 PM- 6:00 PM
Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Officer to provide protection at a retail distribution facility in Houston, TX. This position requires maintaining a strong security presence, monitoring site activity, and ensuring the safety of personnel and property.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible armed security presence at the site
- Monitor and control access to the facility
- Patrol premises and respond to incidents as needed
- Enforce site policies and procedures
- Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Communicate effectively with site personnel and management
Requirements:
- Valid Texas Level III (Armed) Security Guard Card
- State ID
- Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience in a similar environment (distribution, warehouse, or retail site preferred)
- Must be able to stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts)
- Must have own firearm and full duty gear (holster, duty belt, etc.)
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in retail distribution or warehouse security
- Ability to handle high-traffic environments

Texas Level 3
