Armed Security Officer

Excelsior Defense Inc is looking for Armed security officers for the Orland area. Must have BOTH "D" and "G" Florida issued security licenses.Excelsior Defense is looking for a professional Armed Security Officer to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel.Assignment Details:This armed position is under the direct supervision of the immediate supervisor for assigned Housing Authority site and performs a variety of security-related duties. In this position, you will observe and report activities and incidents at assigned locations, providing for the security and safety of client property. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property of the housing Authority. As an armed officer, you may respond to unusual or emergency situations using appropriate escalation of force level up to and including armed response as dictated by the situation and protocol. Additionally, you will assist in preserving order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, to detect, deter, observe and report. This post is a patrol around the property and to do writing report every hour, through the property, ensure a safe environment with a professional and polite manner. Post days and hours: Monday: 430pm to 10pm   Tuesday: 430pm to 10pm   Saturday: 430pm to 9pm    Sunday: 430-9pmSalary: $18.00 per hourBasic Qualifications:D and G security licenseBe at least 21 years of age.Protect company's property and staff by maintain a safe and secure environmentObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbancesReport in detain any suspicious incidentsHourly Report WritingEducation | Experience:High School Diploma or G.E.D.Have a minimum of two (2) years of Armed SecurityMust have own WeaponExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientationIntegrity and professionalismDetailed report writingQualified Officers interested in this assignment can submit their resumes online and/or call our Orlando Office to schedule an interview @ 407-750-9940 FL: B9400086Upon offer of employment, you will be required to submit a drug screening, along with a background run.
