Responsibilities:
- The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Medical Center premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
- Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.
- Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. This position is safety sensitive.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid ARMED Guard CLEET License
- Maintains current BLS and obtains certification within 30 days of hire
- Annual CLEET requalification handgun & shotgun required by a CLEET certified instructor
- Maintains OC/Pepper Spray certification
- Upholds Crisis Intervention Training from SAMA – SATORI and obtains certification within 30 days of hire
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One (1) year relevant experience or appropriate preferred education requirements
- · Experience in healthcare security, corporate security, or law enforcement
