Job Title: Armed Officer

Location: Houston, TX (North Houston area)

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Part-time, 5:15 PM - 9:15 PM, 7 days per week (28 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a professional and dependable Armed Officer to provide security services at a client location in the North Houston, TX area. The ideal candidate will have a strong security background, excellent situational awareness, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment. Candidates with experience working in a retail setting are strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Active and valid Texas Level 3 Guard Card
• Minimum 2 years of armed security experience
• Retail security experience preferred
• Must own and maintain a firearm and required duty gear
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activity
• Conduct patrols and monitor assigned areas
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer concerns in a professional manner
• Complete accurate reports and documentation as required
• Enforce site policies and procedures
• Work closely with management and local law enforcement when necessary

Compensation & Schedule

• $18.00 per hour
• Part-time position
• 28 hours per week
• Shift: 5:15 PM - 9:15 PM, 7 days per week
