    Description

    Armed Security Officer

    Job Duties

    • Conduct access control at all access/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and guests are permitted on property and unauthorized individuals are removed.

    • Quickly respond to emergency situations based on available information and training, make appropriate notifications, follow emergency response procedures.

    • Patrol the perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of all personnel and protection of the property. Complete written reports as required.

    • Identify threats to employees, facilities, and operations.

    • Complete assigned training according to Club policies and procedures.

    • Complete continuous armed security training and maintain appropriate firearm licenses/certifications.

    • The Security Department is a 24/7 resource, which provides assistance and services to all employees and guests.


    Qualifications

    • Associates Equivalent combination of education and experience Preferred

    • 4-6 years Armed security work experience in a professional setting. Preferred

    • Familiarity with Security policies and procedures.

    • Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports.

    • Ability to work calmly and effectively while under duress. Exercise sound judgment regarding the use of weapon.

    • Dedicated to providing quality service.

    • Ability to quickly assess and respond to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

    • Ability to follow detailed, step by step, procedures.

    • Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.

    • Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.

    • Use technology to process information, improve security and communications.

    • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.

    • Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State Required

    • Guard Registration - Bureau of Security & Investigative Services Required

    • Firearms Permit/License Required
