Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in South Yarmouth MA

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidates Must Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Security Experience

As a Security Officer in South Yarmouth, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This armed post requires a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at transportation-related government locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, roadway or facility concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare accurate reports related to patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities, while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
