The Armed Security Site Supervisor role is accountable for the day-to-day operations, including training, disciplining, and terminating staff.The Security Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing a VIP security account, ensuring the delivery of high-quality security services, and maintaining strong client relationships. The successful candidate will deeply understand security operations, risk management, and client engagement.A key aspect of this role is building, improving, and maintaining relationships with the Clients. As the Security Site Supervisor, you are the face of the property. High energy, personable, outstanding communication skills, and security experience leading a team is a must. This role maintains weekly operating schedules and completion of payroll for assigned security personnel.A day-to-day on-site schedule is Monday- Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, and provides after-hour emergency response as required. Key Responsibilities:RESPONSIBILITIES:Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client siteManage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and supportEnsure the client site is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and propertyBuild, improve, and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employeesCoordinate necessary support services to effectively manage client sites to meet or exceed financial and operational goals and provide quality customer serviceEnsure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are metAssure regular communication of issues or programs with the ClientHandle any escalated security issues or emergencies appropriatelyOther management responsibilities as determined by leadershipCommunicate staffing needs via Requisition Form; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidatesDevelop staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)Assure communication of policies, company announcements, and job openings through a consistently updated READ file at each siteMeet all contractual scheduled hours with a minimum of unbilled overtimeCoordinate and/or conduct site-specific OJT, client-specific training, and annual refresher training for security personnel, as well as meet EKG Security's corporate training standardsDevelop/maintain operational procedures so that a valid, site-specific OPM and post orders are always available for emergency reference by the security staffManage uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account(s), maintaining appropriate inventories and maintenance checklistsTake a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting his needs; meet regularly, listen to issues, and provide security and technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfactionLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.Capability to learn and utilize scheduling, payroll, and billing systems.Enforce EKG Security policies as outlined in the handbooks, executive memos, and on the portalQualifications and Requirements:Previous Contract Security, facilities management, military or law enforcement experience requiredValid armed security guard license, meeting state regulations.
