Art Director

Job title: Art Director 
Duration: 12 months with possible extension 
Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid 
Rate: $35-$40/hr on w2 - without benefits

As a key member of our creative team, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple channels, collaborating with talented professionals who are passionate about what they do.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• At least 2 years of design experience in a professional setting
• At least 3 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• At least 1-2 years of experience working with a prototyping software, preferably Figma
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Portfolio of your creative work
• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• Experience in UX/UI or wireframing
• Experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: B2B, Experiential, Performance, or Direct Response
• Experience in the financial services industry
• Experience in photography, video work, or editing is a plus
• Prompt engineering experience is also a nice to have
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere for animation and video editing is also a plus

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design creative for a range of print and digital channels, including email, web, direct mail, display, and social media
• Brainstorm big concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next
• Collaborate with copywriters, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists
• Create marketing that cuts through the noise using strategic insights
• Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time
• Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail
• Present your work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences
