Art Director - Lead

Job title: Art Director
Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Location: Chicago, IL - Hybrid 
Rate: $50-$60/hr on w2 - without benefits

Introduction

We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Art Director: Champion of Design & Creative Ideation. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a significant impact on our brand's visual identity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with Adobe Suite, Google Suite, and Figma
• Familiarity with User Testing Best Practices
• Ad agency experience is preferred
• Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Animation experience is a nice-to-have
• Experience in motion/video design
• Ability to work across a full spectrum of marketing channels

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Drive design and execution across digital, social, email, print, landing pages, and direct mail
• Apply advanced technical art direction skills using industry-standard tools
• Ensure flawless execution and adherence to brand standards
• Contribute to the creative process by developing and presenting compelling design concepts
• Partner effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners
• Ensure all work adheres to our evolving voice and design language
• Articulate creative concepts with clarity and conviction
