The Staff Pad has partnered with a premier fine art logistics company to hire dependable, detail -oriented Art Handlers / Movers in their South San Francisco office. This organization specializes in the transportation, storage, handling, and installation of fine art, antiques, and high -value personal effects for clients across the country.<\/span>

You'll work alongside experienced drivers and team members to ensure every item is packed, transported, documented, and delivered safely.<\/span>

What You'll Do<\/span>
<\/p>

• Assist with local and interstate collections and deliveries of fine art, antiques, and personal effects<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Safely pack, handle, and transport fragile, oversized, and high -value items<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Load and unload trucks using proper equipment and safe handling techniques<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support installation and placement projects at client locations<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Complete condition checks, reports and job documentation accurately and thoroughly<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure that any changes to the daily trip manifest are reported to and approved by the Operations Manager or Dispatch Manager before implementing<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Partner with drivers to ensure vehicles are clean, organized, properly loaded, & ready for transport<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Determine and verify the necessary goods at the start of every day or trip according to the daily trip sheet or manifest<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management, scanning, and item tracking<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail throughout every stage of the moving and handling process<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Follow all company safety standards, procedures, and operational protocols<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Able to follow instructions while working with small crews<\/span>
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Employees starting or ending their day at off -site locations must complete and submit a supervisor signed manual timesheet within 24 hours<\/span>

  Qualifications<\/span>

  • High school diploma or GED required<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience in moving, warehousing, logistics, transportation, or art handling on local & interstate basis preferred<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Understanding inventory processes and the ability to learn proper handling, transportation, and installation of furniture, fine art, and antiques<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Strong organizational, problem -solving, and time -management skills<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Excellent communication, multi -tasking and teamwork abilities<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to complete detailed paperwork and condition reports accurately<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Professional attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast -paced, team -oriented environment<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience using pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and other material -handling equipment preferred<\/span>

    Physical Requirements<\/span>

    • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds<\/span>

    • Ability to push and pull up to 120 pounds using appropriate equipment<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday<\/span>
