Art Teacher

The job of Art Teacher was established for the purpose of providing a variety of media for all assigned students regardless of their ages and needs. This position will require the teacher to plan and implement a variety of media that is age appropriate for a range of grades and adapt the art activities to meet the needs of a variety of students. The teacher will need to plan and prepare effective instruction as well as manage a classroom/learning environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Valid PA teaching certificates in Art Education;

Special Education certification preferred;

Experience working with students with special needs preferred;

ABility to work effectively and regularly with a computer and computer programs;

Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills;

Possess excellent interpersonal and team building skills;

Possess strong organizational skills;

Ability to function independently;

Flexible and reliable.

This is a Full-Time 10 Month Position
