    Location: 4936 McPherson Blvd., Fort Worth, TX 76123Program Dates: January 22, 2026 – February 12, 2026Schedule: Thursdays, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PMAges: 5–12 years

    Position Overview

    The Future Artist Instructor will lead a creative, engaging art program designed to introduce children to foundational art concepts and a variety of artistic mediums. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inspiring young artists, guiding hands-on projects, and creating a positive, encouraging classroom environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and deliver weekly art lessons suitable for children ages 5–12.

    • Introduce students to basic techniques in drawing, painting, mixed media, and creative expression.

    • Prepare materials and set up the classroom prior to each session.

    • Provide step-by-step instruction while allowing freedom for individual creativity.

    • Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.

    • Encourage students, offer constructive feedback, and support their artistic growth.

    • Communicate as needed with site staff regarding supplies, attendance, or class updates.

    • Manage cleanup and ensure materials are stored properly after class.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, camps, childcare, or similar).

    • Background in art, design, or creative instruction preferred.

    • Ability to lead a group, communicate clearly, and engage young learners.

    • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage a structured classroom.

    • Positive, encouraging attitude with a passion for helping children develop confidence through art.

    Schedule & Commitment

    • Thursdays from 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM

    • Program runs 4 weeks (1/22/2026–2/12/2026)

    • Instructor should arrive at least 10–15 minutes early for setup.

    Compensation

    Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Additional opportunities for future sessions may be available.
