Organization Information The mission of the Powell County School System is committment to preparing and inspiring all students to be life-long learners who are self sufficient, responsible and productive members of our community. The vision of our system in partnership with students, parents, and community is a healthy, safe, and nurturing environment. We want successful transition to adult life for all students, quality leadership at all levels, positive climate and culture throughout the schools system, all students on or above grade level, a quality effective educational program that meets the individual needs of all students, remain current in the use of technology, and open communication among all stakeholders.
