Postion Art Teacher SY 26-27

The Prospect Park School District is seeking a qualified and student-centered Art Teacher for a full-time tenure-track position.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Teacher of Art Certificate or CEAS issued by the New Jersey Department of Education
• Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Visual and Performing Arts
• Strong instructional, classroom management, and communication skills
• Experience with elementary and/or middle school students preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging, standards-based art instruction
• Foster creativity and artistic expression
• Differentiate instruction to meet student needs
• Collaborate with staff and families to support student success
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary

In accordance with the negotiated agreement.
