The Art Teacher at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in developing and providing specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with autism spectrum disorders, pervasive developmental disabilities, and a variety of other disabilities. The Art Teacher develops and implements curriculum aligned with the school’s mission, demonstrates knowledge of diverse artistic mediums and instructional strategies, and provides individualized and small-group instruction as appropriate. This role continuously assesses student progress and adapts instruction, accommodations, modifications, and interventions to support learning and engagement.
