    • Job title:  Art Teacher 

    The Art Teacher at Aspire Living & Learning plays a vital role in developing and providing specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with autism spectrum disorders, pervasive developmental disabilities, and a variety of other disabilities. The Art Teacher develops and implements curriculum aligned with the school’s mission, demonstrates knowledge of diverse artistic mediums and instructional strategies, and provides individualized and small-group instruction as appropriate. This role continuously assesses student progress and adapts instruction, accommodations, modifications, and interventions to support learning and engagement.

    • Qualifications: 
      • Minimum ofBachelor’sdegree 
      • CT. Certification #042 Art PK-12 preferred 
      • Knowledge of art standards and curriculum. 
      • Must have satisfactory background checks  
      • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record 
    • House Name: Trumbull Academy, Naugatuck Academy, and Stamford Academy  
    • Shift: 1st shift
    • Hours: 24
    • Pay: $30-$38 per hour

    • Sun: 
    • Mon: 7am-3pm
    • Tues: 7am-3pm
    • Wed: 8am-3pm
    • Thurs: 
    • Fri: 
    • Sat:
