Art Therapist

Charm City Therapy is seeking a compassionate and creative part-time, school-based Art Therapist to provide therapeutic services to pediatric students in a school setting. In this role, you will support students' emotional well-being, self-expression, and developmental growth through art therapy while helping them achieve their therapeutic goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide art therapy services to students in a school-based setting.
• \n
• Conduct assessments to identify each student's strengths, needs, and therapeutic goals.
• \n
• Develop and implement treatment plans as appropriate.
• \n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support students' emotional, behavioral, social, and developmental functioning.
• \n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and other required records.
• \n
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, caregivers, and other appropriate individuals regarding student progress, as appropriate.
• \n
• Maintain compliance with all applicable state regulations, ethical standards, HIPAA requirements, and company policies.
• \n
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• \n
• Master's degree in Art Therapy required.
• \n
• Maryland licensure as an Art Therapist required.
• \n
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• \n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• \n
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• \n
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• \n
• Passion for helping children reach their full potential.
• \n
