ASRC Federal Technology Solutions LLC is looking for an AI Engineer - Intermediate with a Secret clearance to support their work with the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) Chief Information Officer (CIO) G6 at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The AI Engineer will work with a small, focused team of other AI Engineers and a Data Architect supporting the development and implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) tools across ACC. These tools will enhance decision-making, optimize workflows, improve communication, and automate key project management functions.The engineer will work on cross-functional collaboration efforts with data scientists, cybersecurity experts, and subject matter experts. Solutions will leverage AI technologies such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, and other enterprise AI platforms.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in an AI/ML team supporting enterprise-wide automation, analytics, and insight initiativesCoordinate technical delivery of AI solutions aligned to mission-specific use casesDesign, develop, train, and optimize machine learning models for real-world applicationEvaluate model performance and implement improvements based on user and system feedbackAnalyze and preprocess large datasets for use in AI/ML pipelinesDeploy AI/ML models in secure, on-premises environments, ensuring performance and scalabilityCollaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and refine solutions for maximum impactUse platforms such as Palantir Foundry and Microsoft Copilot to create actionable insights and automation toolsDraft documentation and provide guidance on AI usage to non-technical users
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in AI/ML.Experience with one or more:
Microsoft Office SuiteAI/ML platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Copilot, or similar enterprise toolsUsing HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptPrompt engineeringPreprocessing and analyzing large data sets
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and guide technical teamsAbility to define and document AI/ML use cases in coordination with stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in AI/ML initiatives within DoD or federal government environmentsFamiliarity with Agile development and MLOps practicesExposure to Python-based ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn, PyTorch)Experience integrating AI models into enterprise software systems
CLEARANCE LEVEL
Active DoD Secret clearance preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution
