Quest is seeking a highly motivated AI & Analytics Sr Advisor to join our analytics team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys hands‑on technical work, and takes ownership of defining, building, and operationalizing business metrics that drive decision‑making.

You will work closely with cross‑functional partners to translate business questions into data solutions, develop scalable analytics, and deliver insights that influence strategy and execution.

This position is an in-office-based role located in The Domain area of  Austin.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the definition, development, and ongoing evolution of key business metrics, including the application of AI‑driven models and advanced analytics to improve forecasting, measurement, and decision‑making for leadership and operating teams
  • Write complex, performant SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets, supporting both traditional analytics and machine‑learning feature development
  • Use Python to perform advanced statistical analysis, build and evaluate machine‑learning models, automate workflows, and create reproducible analytical and AI pipelines
  • Partner with product, sales, operations, and finance teams to understand business needs and translate them into AI‑enabled insights, predictive use cases, and data‑driven recommendations
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analyses that clearly communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business definitions, while supporting model governance, validation, and responsible AI practices
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities using predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and intelligent pattern recognition techniques
  • Contribute to improving analytics and AI best practices, including data models, feature engineering standards, experimentation frameworks, and documentation
  • Evaluate and leverage GenAI or advanced analytical tools to enhance insight generation, automation, and decision support
Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in analytics, data science, applied AI, or a related role, with demonstrated impact beyond traditional reporting
  • Deep, hands‑on experience with SQL (complex joins, window functions, CTEs, performance tuning), including supporting machine‑learning feature pipelines and analytical models
  • Strong proficiency in Python for advanced analytics, automation, and AI use cases, including experience with libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn, or similar frameworks
  • Proven experience defining, owning, and evolving business metrics enhanced by predictive or AI‑driven insights (e.g., forecasting, segmentation, propensity modeling)
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced analytical, statistical, or machine‑learning techniques to solve ambiguous business problems
  • Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities while contributing to AI‑enabled initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience explaining analytical or AI outputs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree, with experience applying analytics or AI to business strategy, operations, or decision‑making
  • Experience working in a high‑growth, fast‑moving, or ambiguous environment
  • Familiarity with modern data and AI stacks, including cloud data warehouses, BI tools, ML frameworks, and data transformation pipelines
  • Experience influencing business decisions through data, not just reporting results

  • Stakeholders trust your data and seek out your insights
  • You balance technical depth with strong business intuition
  • Your work directly impacts strategic and operational decisions at Quest
