Requirements / Qualifications

      • OPEN TO INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY * DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, Director of Technology & Innovation or designee, the AI & Instructional Technology Lead serves as a key resource to district staff in the learning, planning, leading, and training in the implementation of TK-12 artificial intelligence (AI) and instructional technology. This role supports the integration of digital tools and AI-driven strategies across curriculum, instruction, and assessment to enhance student learning and operational efficiency. The Lead collaborates with departments, school sites, and external partners to advance AI literacy, promote equitable technology integration, and support transformative digital learning aligned with the district's Strategic Plan and Portrait of a Graduate. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ? Valid California teaching credential ? Three (3) or more years of successful teaching or instructional leadership experience ? Experience supporting colleagues in technology integration and/or curriculum implementation ? Strong knowledge of AI in education, digital tools, and instructional technology platforms ? Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support staff ? Strong oral, written, and digital communication skills

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: ? Permanent status in Lynwood Unified School District ? Experience at the secondary or TK-12 level preferred ? Administrative Services Credential preferred ? Familiarity with California Content Standards and research-based instructional strategies ? Ability to lead professional development and coach for impact ? Knowledge of digital equity, data privacy, and ethical use of AI ? Familiarity with design thinking, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and project-based learning ? Competency in educational applications (Google Workspace, Microsoft, LMS, AI tools, etc.) ?
