Are you the person who spots the out-of-tolerance value others miss?
If interpreting a drawing is second nature and reviewing Material Test Reports, Inspection Data Results, and Certificates of Conformance/Performance feels familiar, this role is for you. As an AS9100/AS9120 Quality Compliance Inspector, you’ll strengthen our QMS by validating materials, monitoring builds, and confirming final product quality.
Role focus
- Examine incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to verify compliance with engineering specifications and quality requirements.
- Document inspection results thoroughly and keep quality records complete and audit-ready.
- Administer quality documentation, including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material reports.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to investigate issues and contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform routine process audits to ensure procedures and work instructions are followed.
- Apply mechanical and electrical inspection methods using calipers, micrometers, weight scales, functional gauges, test rigs, and other measurement equipment.
- Enforce compliance with the Quality Management System and applicable standards, including AS9100 and AS9120.
- Interpret Material Test Reports and other inspection data to validate conformance and performance.
- Maintain a strong floor presence—this is a hands-on position, not limited to desk work.
Required background
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional quality training/certification preferred.
- 2+ years as a Quality Control Inspector or similar in manufacturing.
- Proficiency reading engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerance requirements; GD&T knowledge strongly preferred (not required).

- Comfort using Microsoft Excel and Teams for documentation and communication.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and effectiveness working independently and in teams.
