Pay Transparency : $140,000 - $175,000 plus bonus incentives
Overview
The ASC Administrator is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the nursing team and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. This role requires a dedication to patient advocacy, clinical excellence, and compliance with regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective care plans and guide the nursing staff in adhering to best practices.
The facility has three fully equipped operating rooms designed to support cutting-edge procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Aid in the hiring, onboarding, and training of both full-time and per diem nursing staff.
- Manage staffing schedules and shift assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
- Stay informed of current trends in nursing practice.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff to foster professional growth.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in nursing management within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Familiarity with surgical and post-operative care, as well as standards for patient safety.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining privacy standards.
- Ability to manage shifts efficiently while maintaining high-quality patient outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with staff and patients.
