  • Ensure result accuracy through thorough analysis, error troubleshooting, and regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Assist with specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for various testing as required.
  • Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, serve as a mentor for new staff or students, and actively contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
  • Uphold a tidy and secure workspace while adhering to all necessary regulatory and accreditation protocols.
Educational Background
  • A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
Certification Requirements
  • Obtain ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
  • Maintain up-to-date certification throughout employment.
Necessary Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to foster collaborative teamwork with healthcare practitioners.
  • Exhibit independent judgment and adept problem-solving skills, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure situations.
