Position: Substitute Food Service Staff

Reports to: Food Service Director

Summary: Main duties include setting up for the breakfast line, running a register, preparing/presenting the food for the grill station, dishwashing, and general cleaning. Proper recordkeeping and computer meal accounting will be required.

Custodian - 2nd Shift Monday through Friday - 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

REPORTS TO: Head Custodian

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Perform major cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, wet-mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying trash (lifting waste paper and debris - up to 55 lbs.), disinfecting drinking fountains and other building duties as assigned.
  • Clean restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e.: urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and counters). Ensure restrooms are clean and disinfected.
  • Wash windows and sills (door glass).
  • Perform ongoing tasks such as replacing light bulbs (climb ladders), filling dispensers, and setting up facilities for student and adult use, cafeteria tables (lifting furniture, boxes - up to of 55 lbs.).
  • Make minor building repairs and promptly report major repairs needed to the Head Custodian.
  • Work overtime and on weekends as necessary to meet District events and facility schedules.
  • Ensure that all doors and windows are appropriately locked.
  • Must be able to go up and down stairs frequently, as well as regular bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.
  • Assist in major clean-up in summer such as washing desks and chairs, washing down walls, stripping and waxing floors, etc.
  • Keep grounds free of rubbish and in winter shovel snow as required from steps and sidewalks and apply ice melt when appropriate.
  • All other building duties as assigned by management.
  • Maintain regular in-person attendance

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Maintain a professional relationship with students, faculty, administration and community patrons.
  • Submit all data and information as requested.
  • Regularly monitor district email for pertinent communication.
  • Attend meetings as scheduled by supervisors and District Administrators.
  • Complete requested paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions

  • Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally

Join the GLPS transportation team, probationary pay begins at $21.50 per hour / regular driver pay starts at $25.50/hour. Bus Driver's have access to SET-SEG Plum Health Center, and services provided at no cost (or minimal cost if you have an HSA).

Must have a held a regular drivers licenses for a minimum of 10 years. Must have a clean driving record.

Paid Training is provided to obtain a Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.

GENERAL DEFINITION OF WORK:

The job of the Special Education Paraeducator assists the teacher in delivery of educational and behavioral interventions to individual or small groups of students under the supervision of a certificated teacher; which may include modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments; following educational and specific behavioral plans; modeling appropriate behaviors and interactions with students and staff; and assisting students by providing for special health care needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists students in completion of learning tasks assigned by classroom teachers;

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS AND NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:

Duties performed typically in school settings to include: classroom, gym, cafeteria, auditorium and recreational areas. Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a General Maintenance worker for our District Wide operations. This full-time position requires a proactive and reliable individual who can perform various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings and grounds to ensure safety and functionality.
