C. Harper CDJR Mon Valley is looking for an experienced ASE Certified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing service team in Charleroi.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns

• Utilize computerized diagnostic equipment

• Interpret scan data and technical service information

• Perform engine and drivability diagnostics

• Perform engine repairs

• Diagnose and repair braking systems

• Service steering and suspension systems

• Diagnose electrical and electronic system concerns

• Perform scheduled maintenance and preventative services

• Complete mechanical repairs accurately and efficiently

• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance and repair needs

• Test-drive vehicles when necessary to verify concerns and completed repairs

• Communicate repair findings with Service Advisors

• Accurately document completed repairs

• Maintain accurate parts and service records

• Perform repairs according to dealership and manufacturer standards

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• ASE Certification required

• Previous professional automotive technician experience

• Strong mechanical diagnostic abilities

• Strong electrical diagnostic skills

• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment

• Engine repair experience

• Brake repair experience

• Steering and suspension experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and shop equipment

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional and dependable attitude

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

CHRYSLER, DODGE, JEEP OR RAM EXPERIENCE? EVEN BETTER.

Technicians with previous experience working on Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram or other Stellantis vehicles are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience with:

• CDJR diagnostic systems

• Chrysler/Stellantis electrical systems

• Jeep 4x4 systems

• Ram trucks

• HEMI engines

• Pentastar engines

• Engine performance and drivability

• Advanced electrical diagnostics

• Transmission systems

• Hybrid and electrified vehicles

can make you an especially strong candidate.

But CDJR experience is not required.

We're interested in talented ASE-certified technicians coming from other domestic, import, dealership and independent repair backgrounds.

If you're ASE Certified and know how to diagnose and repair vehicles correctly, we want to talk with you.

ASE CERTIFICATIONS HAVE VALUE.

Becoming ASE Certified requires knowledge, experience and commitment.

You're not simply replacing parts.

You're diagnosing electrical concerns.

You're interpreting scan data.

You're troubleshooting drivability problems.

And you're responsible for repairing the vehicle correctly.
