Job Title: Aseptic Technician - Overnight
Job Description
This role supports aseptic operations in an ISO-6 and ISO-7 cleanroom environment. The aseptic technician washes glassware and medical components, performs aseptic cleaning and sterilization activities, monitors process systems and equipment, and maintains aseptic samples in compliance with cGMP and standard operating procedures. This position offers the opportunity to grow long term in a contract sterilization setting that serves pharmaceutical, compounding pharmacy, medical device, and biotech industries.
Responsibilities
- Wash glassware and medical components using designated equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Work in ISO-6 and ISO-7 cleanroom environments while properly gowned in a full cleanroom (bunny) suit.
- Perform aseptic cleaning activities to maintain sterile conditions and support aseptic processing.
- Maintain aseptic samples and ensure they are handled and stored according to cGMP and internal procedures.
- Monitor process systems and equipment to verify proper operation and promptly report any deviations.
- Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance tasks on relevant equipment and assist the maintenance team as needed.
- Participate in safety committees and follow all safety rules, procedures, and regulations.
- Accurately complete all required documentation for each task in compliance with good documentation practices.
- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect workstations before and after use to maintain a controlled and sterile environment.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and maintain high work accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor to support operations.
- Adapt to different processes and workflows depending on the specific client or project requirements.
Essential Skills
- 1-2 years of industry experience in an aseptic, sterile processing, pharmaceutical, or related cleanroom environment.
- Hands-on aseptic technique experience, including aseptic cleaning and sterilization practices.
- Experience working in cleanroom environments, ideally ISO-6 and ISO-7 classifications.
- Previous experience working under GMP or cGMP conditions and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Good documentation practices, including accurate, legible, and compliant recordkeeping.
- Basic computer skills to operate and document activities in internal database systems.
- Ability to monitor and operate process systems and equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high work accuracy.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic, with willingness to work 3rd shift hours.
- Flexibility to handle varying tasks and processes based on client and project needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical, compounding pharmacy, medical device, or biotech environments.
- sterile processing operations or laboratory-based work.
- Familiarity with contract sterilization services, including steam and dry heat sterilization.
- Interest in long-term career growth within an expanding laboratory and production environment.
- Comfort working as part of safety and operational committees to improve processes and compliance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
