Job Description Summary
The Level 2 Asheville Inspector role involves the inspection of complex rotating jet engine components, working with unique aerospace alloys. This role will utilize a variety of precision CNC and conventional inspection equipment in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. The Inspector will be required to utilize a variety of precise measuring equipment, following work instructions, planning, drawings, blueprints, etc. Work will involve inspecting hardware with tight tolerances and fine finishes to ensure customer specifications and aerospace standards are met. Individuals will participate as a team to identify and implement process improvement opportunities that focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and human development.

Ensures adherence to quality and precision standards through the inspection of parts and identification of quality issues and / or defects.
Consistently demonstrates the ability to utilize proper tools, gages, and material handling techniques.
Follows defect procedures and instructions to save parts from being scrapped, where and when applicable.

This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
