10/5/26 - 11/2/26- Only Monday starting on Oct 5th to Nov 6th. But, we have programs all the time.      
Mondays      
5:30 PM - 6:30 PM     
ages 18 +
Second Session:     

Hello, we are looking for a Primary instructor for the above ASL Program. Please make sure you can commute to the location. Also please look at the dates and times and are available for the entire program. The interview process is fun and easy.

Position Overview

The ASL Substitute Instructor will lead a fun, engaging introduction to American Sign Language for elementary school students and Adults. The instructor should be comfortable working with children and able to guide students through basic ASL signs, vocabulary, and simple conversations in an interactive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead an ASL enrichment class for elementary students and 18+ adults
• Teach basic American Sign Language signs, vocabulary, and communication skills
• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Manage classroom behavior in a positive and professional manner
• Follow any provided lesson plans or activities from the primary instructor/program coordinator
• Arrive on time and prepared to lead the class

Qualifications

• Experience with American Sign Language (fluency or strong working knowledge preferred)
• Experience working with children in an educational, camp, or enrichment setting
• Reliable and able to step in when needed
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and engaging with students

Ideal for educators, ASL interpreters, students studying ASL, or instructors with teaching experience.

Experience:

• American Sign Language: 1 year (Preferred)
