Three years of professional ASL interpreting experience and RID certified is preferable

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • **Background check is required <\/u>and the interpreters will be compensated for this effort.
      <\/div>

      <\/div>
      Therefore, once you receive your Background Investigation final approval letter you will be paid compensation of $150 for completing the IRS security clearance process.
      <\/div>

      <\/b><\/div>
      Additional Requirements:<\/b>
      <\/div>

      <\/div>
      • Fluent ASL and spoken English language skills <\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>

        <\/div>
        • Able to provide accurate interpretation<\/span>
          <\/span><\/span><\/li>

          <\/div>
          • Understanding of Deaf culture<\/span>
            <\/span><\/span><\/li>

            <\/div>
            • Thorough knowledge of and adherence to the NAD -RID Code of Professional Conduct<\/span>
              <\/span><\/span><\/li>

              <\/div>
              • Three to five years of experience in interpreting (preferred but not required)<\/span>
                <\/span><\/span><\/li>

                <\/div>
                • As applicable, state licensure or state -required credentials<\/span>
                  <\/span><\/span><\/li>

                  <\/div>
                  • Must pass the company's interpreting skills assessment<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
                    <\/li>

                    <\/div>
                    • You must be 18 years or older to apply.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
