Position: ASL Paraeducator / Interpreter (Primary Grades)
Schedule: Part‑time, 8:45 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Hours: 16.25 per week
Location: Rochester, WA

Job Description:  
We are seeking a dedicated ASL Paraeducator or Interpreter to support a primary‑age student in an inclusive classroom setting. The ideal candidate will provide communication access, foster student independence, and collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure a supportive learning environment.


Responsibilities:

• Provide daily ASL interpretation and support for a primary‑age student.
• Assist with classroom instruction, activities, and peer interaction.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication strategies.
• Support student engagement, social development, and academic participation.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Experience working with young children in educational settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
