Job Title: Fitter/Welder Rate: $34.00 per hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Location: Tulsa Area
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fitter/Welder to join a growing fabrication team. This position requires strong fitting abilities and experience welding on carbon steel. The ideal candidate will be able to read blueprints, fit materials to specifications, and produce high-quality structural welds in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols. Fit and assemble carbon steel components according to specifications. Perform structural welding on carbon steel to quality standards. Measure, lay out, and prepare materials for fabrication. Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy. Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety policies and production requirements.
Qualifications Previous Fitter/Welder experience required. Experience fitting and welding carbon steel. Strong blueprint reading and layout skills. Experience with structural steel fabrication and welding. Ability to use measuring tools, including tape measures, squares, and fabrication equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environment. Reliable attendance and dependable work history. Must be able to pass a weld test.
