We pride ourselves in being a family-oriented organization with a goal of upholding the safety and health of our number one asset, our employees.Position OverviewThe Plant C Operator will work closely with the Plant, Maintenance, and Management Teams to ensure consistent and high-level functionality off all aspects of operations with direction provided by his/her direct manager to minimize downtime and optimize production.The ideal candidate has experience with processing, loading, shipping, and a thorough understanding of all areas related to asphalt work. They should be able to address issues, monitor standards at the plant, and ensure the safe practices of all employees.Key Responsibilities Train in the facility processes; learn and understand the Standard Operating Procedures of the facilityLoad and unload tank trucks carrying liquid asphaltGauge above ground storage tanks which requires climbing to the 40 foot heightsPerform facility rounds, and record specific data using an iPadOperate a sit down forklift, unloading shipping containersBarge loading and unloading Participate in safety meetings and required training throughout the yearAdhering to all safety procedures, ensuring proper personal protective equipment usage, and reporting any safety concerns. Collaboration - Working closely with management to identify and address issues impacting the facility and production.
