Responsibilities
- Assist with asphalt paving operations on highways and roadways
- Rake, lute, shovel, and spread hot mix asphalt
- Support operation of paving and compaction equipment as directed
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work site
- Follow all safety policies and traffic control procedures
Qualifications
- Prior asphalt, roadway, or heavy highway construction experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work extended hours as required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Work Environment
Outdoor construction setting with exposure to heavy equipment, traffic, and varying weather conditions.
