As a Full-Time Asphalt Plant Operator at J T Russell & Sons, you will operate the asphalt plant safely and efficiently, ensuring top-tier production standards. Your responsibilities include taking asphalt orders from customers, loading and ticketing trucks, and managing onsite inventory to streamline operations. You’ll prepare daily reports and compile tickets to maintain accurate records. With 3+ years of experience in asphalt operations, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of asphalt plants, along with the required safety standards. Your ability to operate and maintain equipment is crucial, as is your keen attention to detail and situational awareness. Physical stamina is required, as you must be able to stand for extended periods and engage in manual labor when necessary.
You'll also need to interact respectfully with co-workers, customers, and the public, demonstrating strong communication skills.
