Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;
Perform daily equipment inspections
Perform work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors
Controls material taken into paver and the depth of material being distributed through the paver and smoothness of mat
Ability to communicate with supervisor and testing technician if there are issues with laydown operations
Position is expected to assist in operating other pieces of paving equipment including asphalt rollers, power brooms, skid steer loaders, and loaders as needed
Must be willing to work flexible shifts that include days, nights, and weekends as needed
Must be willing to do physical labor
Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications;
Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Valid driver’s license but a CDL is a preferred
Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background
Job requires steady to intermittent physical activity including; standing, stooping kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, shoveling, and raking
