If you're looking for a company that values its employees and offers long-term career opportunities, Silver Star Construction wants to hear from you.We are currently seeking an experienced Asphalt Distributor Truck Driver to support our paving operations by safely operating distributor trucks and applying tack coat and asphalt emulsions to roadway projects.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate asphalt distributor trucks and related equipmentApply tack coat and emulsions in accordance with project specificationsConduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsMonitor fluid levels and inspect equipment for leaks or mechanical issuesPerform routine maintenance including greasing and cleaning spray systemsAdjust spray bars and flow controls to achieve proper coverage ratesAssist with additional construction duties as neededFollow all company safety policies and proceduresQualificationsCDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement (Required)Clean driving recordHazmat (X) endorsement preferredAbility to pass DOT drug screen, physical, and background checkWillingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and flexible schedules as neededStrong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a teamPhysical RequirementsFrequent climbing, bending, stooping, and walking on uneven terrainAbility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to safely work around moving equipment and active construction zonesComfortable working in noisy, dusty environmentsBenefitsCompetitive CompensationMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability Coverage401(k) Retirement PlanEmployee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Additional Benefits AvailableSilver Star Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
