ASPIRE Internship Program - Summer 2027Eligibility:The Ben E. Keith ASPIRE Corporate Credit Internship is open to actively enrolled students entering their senior year or who are current seniors. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must submit a resume with their application for consideration. You must apply to your preferred location and are responsible for securing housing for the internship's duration.Important Note: Relatives of current Ben E. The ASPIRE Internship Program at Ben E. Keith Foods is a paid, 11-week rotational experience designed to offer you a comprehensive understanding of our operations and the foodservice industry.What Ben E. Keith Foods Does:For over 100 years, Ben E. Keith Foods has been a leader in the food distribution industry, specializing in purchasing, operations, logistics, credit, marketing, sales, and meat processing. We provide high-quality food products and services to restaurants across the United States, working across the entire food supply chain from sourcing to delivery. Our extensive experience and commitment to service excellence have made us a trusted partner in the industry.Position Summary:The Corporate Credit Intern will support the Credit and Finance team in evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring account activity, and assisting with projects related to risk assessment and receivables management. This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate credit analysis, financial statement review, and exposure to the decision-making process that helps safeguard company assets while supporting business growth.Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the review and analysis of customer credit applications and financial statementsConduct research on current and prospective customers to assess credit riskHelp monitor customer accounts for payment activity, aging reports, and credit limit adherenceSupport the team in preparing documentation for credit reviews and internal reportingPartner with collections and sales teams to resolve account issuesContribute to projects that enhance credit processes, systems, and reportingMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applicationsAbility to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracyStrong written and verbal communication skillsInterest in credit, risk management, and corporate financeMinimum GPA of 3.0 required
